CHEONG KELLY ♥
Good food and pretty clothes are my greatest weaknesses.

Everyday has been so boring for me ever since Stefan enlisted. No one to go out with anymore on weekdays since everyone around me are working. ): No outings = nothing to blog about anymore ._. I really need to find a job soon, hate being at home doing nothing all day, especially being home alone. And since I'm so bored at home, I've decided to do a review on the japanese dining place I went with my brother for lunch last week. I've always thought that TripleOne Somerset is an office building, until my brother brought me there that day! He wanted to try their lunch sets after reading good reviews about the restaurant online.
Fukuichi Japanese Dining Restaurant
TripleOne Somerset #02-11/12 (Nearest MRT: Somerset)
Operating hours: 12pm-3pm (lunch), 6pm to 12am (dinner)
I don't have the photos of the interior, but the restaurant was big and spacious; they have indoor and outdoor seats, and a sake bar located at their outdoor area. We went there at about 1pm and the restaurant was relatively crowded with many working adults there (cause mostly wearing formal wear). Since there aren't any photos with the interior, I shall just move on to the food - which is the highlight anyway! (:
Spider Maki ($15)
Saba Shioyaki Set ($18)
Shake Sashimi Udon Teishoku ($18)
AWESOMEEEEE - and I really mean it. My brother's saba set consisted of a bowl of rice, his fish, chawanmushi, soup and salad while my salmon sashimi set has a bowl of udon, salmon sashimi, salad and this little bowl of unidentified weird looking cold dish. Being a picky eater, I hesitated for a long time before I picked up courage to try it. It turned out to be really delicious kani tofu! Not a fan of century eggs but I really love this cold dish. So smooth, so fragrant.
Moving on to the salad, it was a first for me - the first time I actually finished a bowl of salad. To be honest, there's only a very short list of vegetables I eat (really very picky eater here) so I always don't finish my salads. But the salad they served only contained the vegetables I like! How coincidental is this! My favorite greens all in this crunchy, refreshing and a little sour salad - I definitely have to finish it! ^^ As for the salmon sashimi, it was really fresh, fat and good!!! Okay I'm running out of words to describe "good" as everything was so nice lol. (pardon my poor vocab) The udon, on the other hand was nothing special even though it was quite chewy/Q. Got to try a little of my brother's saba fish which was sweet and heavenly! Oh and they served watermelons after the food too ((: The final bill totaled up to around $60, which I felt was reasonable since the food was so so soooo good. Will definitely come back again and perhaps for their dinner menus if I have the money lol. (since this was bro's treat) Everyone reading this should really go and try their food!

A typical Leo, minus the confidence. I find it difficult to trust people. A foodie and a shopaholic. Not to mention, a very picky eater. Taking baby steps in realizing my dream to travel the world. Beware, I can be really crazy at times. You have been warned. (:
